Ibanez RGA Active EQ adalah fitur pada gitar seri RGA yang menggunakan kenop tone untuk membentuk seluruh spektrum frekuensi (bass boost/treble cut hingga treble boost/bass cut) secara halus dengan satu kenop, bukan hanya memotong high seperti EQ pasif biasa, memberikan suara massive fat hingga jernih dengan perubahan volume minim, bekerja pada pickup aktif seperti LoZ atau CAP-LZ. 
Fitur ini memberikan fleksibilitas tonal yang luar biasa untuk genre musik berat, memungkinkan transisi suara yang cepat dan alami. 

Description:
The RGA Active EQ is a feature introduced with the RGA series, using the tone knob not to cut the high as usual, but to shape the full range of frequencies instead. The system works with active pickups such as the LoZ pickups and the CAP-LZ pickups.

This feature is mostly found on the RGA series models and was first introduced to the Prestige
The Active EQ is controlled with the Active EQ knob. This EQ allows for everything from a bass boost/treble cut to treble boost/bass cut in a sooth and natural

Later the active EQ was deployed to the normal production models. A toggle swith has now replaced the knob and works as an ON/OFF preset EQ :The Active EQ is controlled with the ON/OFF toggle switch. This EQ allows a bass/treble boost while cuttings mid frequencies (see RGA7).
